hii.
i was learning the gsm module for last few days.i got the point that while CALL,we sent burst of 4.615msec each containing 8 time slots.only one slot is used by a user(consumes burst current ~2A).for remaining time, the module consumes typical call current(~200mA).
i need to know the how sms is sent in gsm/gprs. Are all the slots used for sending SMS data or restriction or just 1 lyk gsm call ?
Also, how much current is consumed while transmitting this sms data?same as call ?

Thanx.
