What for is MAX-plus II

Hii All,

I wonder that What for MAX-plus II is ? and What can I do with this program ?

maxplusii is a CPLD development tool and only support ALTERA's CPLDs. for beginner, it is highly recommended.

maxplus2 just support the chip of older series, quartus2 support the new series.

Could you give some part numbers for older series CPLDs.

maxplusII supported CPLDs:
acex1k, flex10k, flex8000, flex6000, max9000, max7000, max3000, classic

if you want to use CPLDs like apex20k, cyclone,
you have to turn to quartusii.
