I am looking for this beast with internal current limit protection (between 250mA to 500mA). Something like LP395. But the LP395 current is only 100mA. Does anyone know any part like this? Thanks in advance.

Re: Looking 4 Transistor with internal current limit protect

If you cannot find any, you can put several of the 100 mA types in parallel.

Make sure that they share the current. Do this by putting their bases in parallel and their collectors in parallel. Then put a one ohm resistor in series with each emitter and put the far end of the resistors in parallel and consider this the emitter of the composite transistor.

With the TO92 plastic cases, the power dissipation may be the limiting factor more than the current. You can always put small clip on heat sinks on them.
