Hi to you all.:D
I have been looking for a 433.92 Mhz crystal, the frequency is free in Sweden and I need one.
Have anyone out there found where to buy one, I have looked, but apparently not in the right place. :?
Thanks beforehand.

Re: 433.93 Mhz crystal.

Hi,
you will not find a crystal with that frequency, I doubt if they exist. what you need is called a saw filter.

here is one : **broken link removed**

if you want to make things easier why not buy a ready made transmitter.

Re: 433.93 Mhz crystal.

Thanks.
Well I will definetly check it out.
I need a 433.92 Mhz, not 433.93 Mhz, sorry, my bad.:!:

As i understand your key fobs uses 315 Mhz and there are crystals for that.
In Europe we use 433 Mhz, so my first idea was that it must be able to buy, but maybe you are right, since I can't find it anywhere.

433.93 Mhz crystal.

Hi Wiken,
You can check it here: www.epsontoyocom.co.jp/english/product/OSC/set04/eg2121ca/index.html
You can become i.e. SAW elements too for these frequencies, but I dont know a other source as Epsontoyocom & prices.
I believe too, that Data Radio Modules are the most cheaper way.
@spiralbrain,
Marconi has produced ca. 30 years ago(Plasma etched) XTALs up to 500MHz too(oscillated not on harmonics) :)...

Hi,
Another sources for informing ( & of course; EdaBoard`s "Similar topics:" too):

I guess crystals are not available in retail, for the said frequency. OEM's custom order it for respective applications. The simplest thing you can do is get ASK TX RX modules where you'll find the said crystal in the TX PCB. remove it and use it at your application. Cheers

433.93 Mhz crystal.

Hi Pranam,
Only one problem: so far I know; these Modul-XTALs are not on the desired frenquency oscillating, but more drives the onchip generators...
If its possible to buy some very cheap modul/dore opener i.e./ maybe its "the solution", but I thnk, its not so a simple solutable.
Otherweise Epson has the SAW components up to 500 & 700MHz in program_I think some distributor tells it speedy whats on stock & what prices are...

@ karez..sorry i didnt get you...
Do you mean to say the frequency in these modules are generated by on board chips or you say the frequency generated by the crystals are not very accurate?..Cheers

Hi,
Yes.
In detail; (as I Know) these XTALs are not on some harmonics oscillating, & not on 433.xx MHz_means: their are some 10---16 or so MHz XTALs.
Its a synthesizer on work, or by more professional versions a SAW compnent at direct 433.XX MHz :)...

Re: 433.93 Mhz crystal.

Hi to all of you!
I'm very happy for all the answers and insights you all have given me.:D
I have checked out all you suggestions and, due to your commitment I will be able to move on.
Now I can try, several sollutions.
My plan is to send voice over 433 Mhz, from all my rooms to my computer for voice control of my entire house.
Also use 433 Mhz for my alarm system.

By the way, we do have suppliers in Sweden, but I have not found this particular crystal.:?:
Thanks to all of you!:D

Re: 433.93 Mhz crystal.

Hello Wiken

You do not have possibility using direct XTAL at 450Mhz!

But 144,633 MHz is OK (with special oscillator with 2 transistors) After, you make tripler and have 433,900 MHz or channel around

I use these XTAL for different applications. Stability is very good for TV and voice transmission. (narrow band 50 at 25Khz)

Direct oscillation at 150 Mhz for XTAL using partial 5 not 3 !
This is special polised XTAL. You buy this at Deloor (belgium)

All polished XTAL work for this use, but fondamental is around 29 MHz.

Do not use 27Mhz Xtal this is partial 3, fundamental is...ONLY 9Mhz.

Apparently, some confusion has been caused by the term crystal. As biff44 mentioned, SAW resonators with a fundamental
frequency e.g. in the 433 MHz ISM band are commonly available. See the respective Epcos datasheet

These devices aren't crystals, strictly spoken, but have almost similar properties. You can also buy oscillators in the multiple 100 MHz
frequency range, they mostly use SAW resonators.

Complete SAW oscillator based transmitters are available as well, see the link from my previous post. If variable frequency
or FM are intended, PLL synthesizers are a more suitable way of frequency generation.

Re: 433.93 Mhz crystal.

Thanks!:D
I will go over my design again and consider your suggestions.
I'm glad I posted here @ edaboard, I have got many good ideas.
Again thanks!
