Equal Split Wilkinson Power Divider

Hi I am trying to create a equal split Wilkinson Power Divider in puff, but I cannot seem to get the power to split, I have attached the screen shot for two different circuits I built as well as the puff file, any suggestions would be appreciated!

Here is my Puff File:

Copy from the site above and create a .puf file and open it in puff to see the circuit in puff.

Not familiar with that program, but it looks like you are using a symmetrical design (same impedance transmission lines in both channels), but are expecting an un-equal power split? Uhh....the answer is obvious.

My appologies, I must have misread!

Ok, you need to make that resistor "A" be zero ohms, and move the 100 ohm resistor to between the two output ports 2&4 (but placed right after the two transmission lines "B"). Also, make the lead in transmission line from port 1 to the junction be 50 ohm. That should get you close.
 
Does this look, better, it seems like it as both S21 and S41 are 3 dbs (.5 power)
 

Yes. If you put 1 watt in, and split the power in half to two ports, you would expect the power at either of the two output ports to be a little less than 1/2 watt. 1/2 watt + 1/2 watt = 1 watt.
 

Wow! I haven't seen Puff in a long time. I didn't know it was still around. I learned my first microwave designs using Puff on a MS-DOS computer. The program works well and they would even give you the source code so you could see how they did the programming.
 

Yea its definitely easier to use PUFF for simple designs than using ADS, especially for microwave circuits....
