Hi
I want to design a power supply for my gsm/gprs module which require 3.3 V , 2 A
I have a transformer which deliver an output voltage of 9 v , 2 A
Let anyone advice me regarding the voltage regulator which i have to be used.

Regards
Roy

You may use LM317K (TO3) package) which is a 3 Amps variable voltage regulator, or LM317 TO220 package with current boost circuitry as given in the datasheet....Cheers

Here are two switching candidates:

1.5A - LM2651-3.3
**broken link removed**

3.0A - LM2576-3.3 (or ADJ)
**broken link removed**
