Hello everybody.

Does anybody know about any Linux native IDE for developing ARM programs.
I recently switched to Linux and now i'm in the process of finding tools for programming ARM.
On Windows i was working with IAR but there is no Linux version of it and i was unable to run it under WINE.

Thanks in advance

This looks nice, too bad its not free:p But on the other hand 150$ is not that much.

You can use cross gcc and use Eclipse as your IDE.
This is interesting as i'm already using Eclipse for JAVA development.

And could you advise me about a programmer that would work with such setting(Eclipse + gcc). Should i buy such a device or maybe build one.
So far i was playing with Luminary Micro ARM microcontrollers(under IAR). I was using one of their dev boards and the programming was performed using FTDI chps(USB to Serial). Can i use the same method with Eclipse? I must say that i still not know much about about these different programming methods.

Regards

Hi J-Link from Segger works with Eclipse + GCC.

If your controller has ethernet interface, use tftp for booting and nfs for development.
