Hey guys.
I'm using ports 1 and 3 of AT89S51 to interface the microcontroller with LCD panel (8-bit mode). I saw labels MISO,MOSI & SCK written in brackets of P1.5,P1.6 and P1.7 respectively. I came to know from the datasheet that those pins are for programming the flash. I'm burning the software using a burner and then mounting it onto my PCB. My question is, do i need to add external pullup resistors to these pins? Its not mentioned anywhere in the datasheet.
Please help.

All P1 port pins have “weak” internal pull-ups, so if you use them as general purpose input/output pins you don’t need to add any external pull-up resistors ..
