I have done the clap switch project but the project was a failure, i could not trace out the problems because i have solder all the components following by the provided diagram (see attachment),

can anyone please help me...!!!

thank you.

Additional information.

when the 9V battery is plug in, LED1 does emit light but when i clap there is no function with the relay.

Pin3 of IC2 does not have output..

clap switch

circuit seems working, check R10 connected torom IC1 pin 3 to IC2 pin 4

check your wiring

Re: clap switch

thank you..

as u said i have check it out, and my connection is correct..
through multimeter, i got to know that from IC1 pin 3 there is an output to pin4&8, but there is no output from IC2 pin3, and i have also changed the Transistor(2) and all of the IC...
but the result is still negative...
what should i do now?

..

NO.As per the circuit, LED1 should not glow as it is.
It should glow only after the first clap.

Re: clap switch

How do i should solve this problem? any suggestion???

please do help me..

clap switch

its a bit difficult to analyse looking at this circuit, without checking various test points practically.

Here basically whats happening is IC1 is triggered in default state itself without clap signal. That means T1 is also triggered.

According to the ckt, T1 should be triggered only when there is a clap signal. or the resistor values are wrong. so ensure that the resistor are of the right values given in the circuit. for eg; you have not put 270Ohms instead of 270K etc.
