What is analog ip ?

You are asking what an analog IP (intelectual property) must contain, when you buy one?

ya!
i want to give a file list for the analog IP,
such as gdsII, SPICE netlist, doc, DRC.LVS, and ...?
Thanks

I can't say there is a standar package for an analog IP. But usualy, there is always something missing...
Any way, it depends what software they used in design. If you whant to convert in your software, that might cost extra. Basic, an IP must have, as you said, gdsII file for layout, netlist, but is better to have the design schematic, models for the devices, necessary libraries, rul files for DRC, LVS, as many as possible documentation, specs, meassurements, tests, test conditions, and the list can grow.
The conclusion is that for the money you pay, you ges as much as possible.

Check out h**p://www.thevcx.com.
This is a portal allowing for the exchange of IP mostly analogue, for a price of course !

I think they can only give you a GDSII

Hi,

There are many analog IP vendor around the world,
you can find what they can provide on their IP datasheet. In fact, there is no standard list for analog IP trading. If you want more info, i think they can provide it with reasonable surcharge. If your company is big enough, you probably have more bargain power. But first of all, you need to know what is needed to integrated the IP when you try to integrate it into your chip.BTW, don't forget to ask the testing scheme after production. Otherwise, you may run into trobles :p
