Hi,
Does someone know how to simulate a conformal antenna using CST? I would like to draw a patch on a cylindrical structure.
Thanks
Couless

I think it's quite easy to simulate conformal antenna using CST. CST has bending feature, that is to bend patch antenna that you want on a cylindrical structure. You can read it in the manual guide.

hello there,

i tried to bend an array of patch antenna, but i got this warning, the mesh staircase model will be filled with PEC. how to tackle this? thanks a lot for the reply

Hello,
Did you have a problem doing the element of your array? Is it just a warning?
Could you simulate your structure?

Hi Couless,

thanks for the reply. yes, i have problem with it as the radiation pattern was bad. i design it based on cst video, using bending structure, and when i zoom in my model, it's like not a smooth cylinder. do you think it's caused by that?

Hey,
I can send you some simple examples. I will have to do it by the week end as I am out of the office for a week. How can I send it to you?
Regards
