Hi I need to extract the 2nd harmonic from a waveform. I think I need to use correlation but I have no idea where to start. Can anyone provide some MATLAB help.

The experiment is to fire a chirp signal at a bubble and measure the response from the bubble to see if it resonates. I have a hydrophone to collect the received data.

I've got the data that I want to extract from in MATLAB. I need the 2nd Harmonic signal to correlate with but what I need to do to get that?? Just use a sine function to create a signal at the the 2nd harmonic frequency? Once I correlate both signals, how do I analyse the resultant vector from the correlation in MATLAB??

If anyone suggest how I can can go about doinf this that would be much appreciated![/b]
