How can i connect microcontroller avr with gsm/gprs modem ?

please help me to connect microcontroller avr with gsm/gprs modem
i am using code vision as programing language
can i adopt at command, especially for CSD communication...

You can connect modem with microcontroller through usart.

Hi,

You can connect through USART or UART, Whichever is available in that controller,
there will no issue in that,

But as u asked about CSD,
It Depends on what service exactly u want to use from MODEM,

For calling/message sending u can use CSD, If u want to use GPRS its better to choose PSD,

i m trying ti interface a avr 32 bit microcontroller with a gsm/gprs module (telit GC864-QUAD), i need a sorce code for that first i tried to make it bt it not working. please help me. i need a code for same..
