MOSFET BASED SSR

Someone knows how to build a mosfet based solid state relay to be used with ac voltage?

Re: MOSFET BASED SSR

I think you should use two mos and two diode to parallel,it is bi-direction.
because mos have bode diode,so you use another diode to isolate it.

Re: MOSFET BASED SSR

8) i had built one using two mosfets connected in common source configaration, both source are connected and both gates are connected.
the switch turns on when you apply a voltage from gate to source

Re: MOSFET BASED SSR

ANY MOSFET WITH RATING MORE THEN PEAK LINE VOLTAGE CAN BE USED IN IRF CKT.YOU MUST USE PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAY.
OTHER THEN PVI 1050 THERE IS CT202D FROM SEMITRONICS.
