Question about simple sampling process theory

Hello, I'm now thinking a problem regarding to simple sampling process. In practical, we can't generate ideal delta-function sequence to sample the input signal. Instead, we can just use a sequence of short pulses to sample the signal.

Because the Fourier transform of delta-function sequence is also delta-function sequence, intuitively, the non-ideal pulses will have a wider frequency spread in frequency domain, which means the convolution of the Fourier transforms of the input signals and sampling signals will also have a wider frequency spread. I personally think it will increase the requirement of sampling rate, but I'm not sure if there are other concerns I need to be aware of.

sampling theory

There are two mayor concerns.
First sampling feauency at lest 4 times, that's the practical concern.
Second the filter to avoid the anti aliasing.
