Dear all,

Im working on a project related to runoff. I have a flume and a rain simulator. What I want to do is to measure the depth of the water at anypoint I want. I will examine the changes of the runoff depth with time. Water depth may be about 3 mm. So measurement range is about 0 to 10 cm and accuracy is %1.
Which devices would you like to prefer me? And how can I find them?

Thank you very much.

Yours sincerely

hi, matercan

You can use presssure sensor from sensirion or mpx2010 from freescale.
Try to find how to measure it in their application notes.

hope it will help you.

Check out the link I paste here. I had tested this for varying level of water and through flowing river.. Its output is either voltage, current RS232 or RS485.
