Related to my TEM cell, I also tried to use a waveguide port for source and a lumped matched resistor for load. I don't understand what the "number of modes" refers to. It says there, in the CST help that the waveguide port "simulates an infinitely long waveguide connected to the structure" An infinitely long guide with transversal dimensions equal to those of the defined port, I suppose. So, the modes, refer to that in the "infinitely long waveguide", not the modes which appear in my TEM cell (whose transversal dimensions are much greater than those of the port. Is it so? If so, I can chose only one mode, the first? Is there any relation between that modes in the settings dialog and the modes that 9(will) occur in my TEM cell?
