hey can some one give me some hints how to detect rf signals to display frequency on lcd.
Could you expain your question a bit. Do you mean you need to measure a frequency wirelessly or you just to detect a transmitter or some thing else?....cheers

Hi,
but these isnt clear declared:
you need to display a frequency value only= you must apply a prescaler/counter as matbob told too,
you need a detection (measure the amplitude/power)= you need HF detector circuit (exists in ICs too)
maybe you need both systems_ display frequency & level/power too, also practically a spectrum monitor?

ok i want to clear one thing i want to detect rf signal and i want to display detected signal over lcd.as karesz said

What kind of band, levels & resolution pls?
Then; your imagination is to display it in lines_similar spectrumanalyzers or with hystograms/columns?
