Ultra low power microcontroller with 16 bit adc

Hi there!
I want microcontroller having following features
1. Ultra low power
2. Minimum 16 bit inbuild adc
3. IDAC

XE88LC05 of XEMICS is one having all above features , but i am not getting it's price and availlablity any where. Can anybody tell me where sholud i get an information about this IC or else pls suggest any other microcontoller having similar features.

Check out the MSP430F7xxx series. It has a 16-bit Sigma Delta ADC. The MSP430 is also known for it very low power. That should be a match with your requirements. Hope this helps.
The lowest cost in this family might be the MSP430FE4232 with less than $2.50 @ 1k with a 16-bit ADC

Hi,
As I know MSP ADCs input range is very spetial, not between zero and i.e. 2.5V or 4V:-( ...
Other good alternative are XLpicmicro, Renasas (Yet NEC) & some ARM versions too...

I think the best way is to use an ARM-CORTEX type of micro like the STM32 or the LPC1300 or the new low power ENERGY-MICRO and an external 16 bit ADC

This way you will get a low cost product, low power micro(depnd on application), and you will not attached yourself to a single manufacture
