Hi ,

I need to design a flyback converter operating in discontinuous mode.
Im planning to use UC3845 current mode IC.

Input is 60-160V DC,output is 5V,500mA

This is the Spec.

Ive been hearing that in Discontinuous mode there is no right half plane zero which makes the design easier .

Can somebody please explain on it?

Thanks
Steve.
