Hi!!
i'm new to this forum, this is my first post,
i'm in a process of building a temperature sensor using PIC16F877A, and LM35DZ
+a 16X2 LCD,
can i make a data logger using any memory modules, can it be done?

my aim is to sense temperature, display on the LCD, and log the data on a memory module, so that we can connect it to computer and view the data,

i'm new to PIC, currently learning basic steps, i'm familiar with the hardware part, but a bit lazy on the software side,

thanks for so many replies

also can we interface PIC with a memory module(like pen drive, memory card.. )
 

how about interface with nor or nand flash?
 

frankly speaking i donno any thing about interfacing to memory, now reading on the basics,
i will follow which ever method you people say is easy

Hi,
If you use mikroBASIC or mikroC, there are internal library functions made for operations with SD/MMC card with examples.
You can download one of the compilers and check the examples in the help menu.
