Hi friends,

I am designing an orthomode transducer for which I need to make transition from Circular to rectangular port. I want to do it in step transitions. So if anybody can help me, in providing a document to design such a transition, for maximum matched ports.

Best regards.

Re: Circular to Rectangular Transition in HFSS .(Help requir

What comes to my mind is, if you want to fix the rectangular structure at the circular aperture, make a box and substract the two (dont forget to clone). Further, give PerfE to the circular aperture and PerfH to the face of the rectangular structure which is in contact with the circular aperture. I think it should work fine this way. Let me know whatever happens.

I have just connected a rectangular aperture and a circular aperture used the function button "connect" in HFSS, and it will be a transtition model.

I dont know if this method is correct, although i have got the right results.

i want to make a cylindrical microstrip antenna i.e a cylindrical dielectric with rectangular cavity and a rectangular patch on it the figure is shown can some body help me plzzz

I have seen a case of what you need in the help examples of Comsol. You can get some hints from it.
