bandgap reference simulation and layout using cadence

Hi,

How to check the operating point of the start up circuit of the bandgap reference is turn off after the whole circuit is working? (when i ramp my input from 0 to 5V)

And can anyone give me some lab sheet or tutorial or manual on how to design the layout and how to do the layout simulation using cadence?
because my manual is until the schematic simulation only.

**broken link removed** you can find several tutorials about this stuff.
