Ni-MH batteries

hello,

does any reader know the no load voltage of a Ni-MH battery.

Also, do you know the internal resistance of a Ni-MH cell

About 1.2 volts.

Little, or close to zeero. If discharged, the resistance will increase.

It should be the Voltage as marked on it provided the battery is well charged and is in good condition. A Ni-Mh battery cannot be expected to have retained its charge after long periods...Cheers

For about 1 year, new Energizer, Sanyo and Sony Ni-MH cells hold a charge for almost 12 months. They are "pre-charged".

Energizer have a datasheet for every battery they sell. The datasheet shows the voltage and voltage drop at various currents. The internal resistance is listed at a full charge and half discharged. The impedance is shown.
