Re: Urgent: how to simulate the OTA with switched-capacitor

Hi, all

Somebody in this forum said that, the OTA with S/C CMFB simulation could be done by PSS, PAC...., with spectreRF, but could anyone explain the detailed procedue or just give me some documents on that? I need it badly now!

thanks a lot, and best regards

Added after 5 hours 17 minutes:

I tried two ways to find out the performance of the circuit,
1, first do .tran simulation, then use the .tran results for ac analysis
2, pss, then pac

these two ways both gave some information, for example, DC gain, phase margin, but the problem is that they are different from each other.

so could anyone tell me that which one is correct, or they should be the same?

best regards

Hi abcyin,
this topic has been discussed so very often in this forum, just search all the Similar topics: below; I guess you'll find the answer. If not, you should provide more exact info about your pb. (why you use periodic analysis for an OTA, which stimulus, feedBack). I think PSS & PAC aren't thought for gain & phase measurement purpose, much more for DFT applications giving intermodulation (THD and the like) results.
