is it possible to create and save ,, our own generated melody??
if so how to do it?

if possible pl help me with an appropriate circuit to create, play and save ringtones.

pl help with detailed circuit to the max extent possible.

Of course - yes.
Think pls on the lot of "musical greating cards"!
Their are so 20 years ago overall actuel:) & their are an one chip circuit _I think with mask programmed_ memory for your song...
In modern times you have a lot of mobil telefone ringing songs to download too...

hi tahmid,
thanks for replying....

but i want a circuit which i can implement in my bread board.

i have a plan of designing a circuit which has a keyboard to input ringtones and store it and also play the ring tone when a play switch is pressed .

i have already built a basic circuit which has a 555 timer and many capacitors , for different freqencies to produce different tones.

but i don know how to store the ring tone in a microcontroller or um66 IC.

is it possible to store music in UM66 IC or microcontroller . how to do it?

hello, you can use isd1760 or other series for storing and retrival of sound. all necessary diagrams are provided in the datasheet. the sound quality is also very good.

Hi,
That's why I said to look at chips from APlus. They have some where you can record audio sounds, upto 12 tones and upto a few minutes.
I have one which saves only 1 tone for 42 seconds.

mr. welove8051 thank u so much . i went through the document . i have just one doubt .

can we give input to the isd 1700 through a keyboard?
because im not using a microphone to give music input.
to be specific... in the document you gave. in the example no#2 . there is something called analog input. what that means?

my main aim is to generate melody by generating different frequencies by using different capacitors. after the melody is generated, i want isd 1700 to save it and play it back . is it possible?

is it possible to interface the circuit i have uploaded with the isd 1700 ? or is there any other way to do it?

Added after 20 minutes:

hi tahmid

i saw the products. but they are not ready to share any circuit details with me.
i have uploaded an image in which i have constructed a melody cicuit which is working well. im able to create all the 7 basic tones and also hear it through the speaker .

now my major doubt is , is it POSSIBLE TO INTERFACE THIS CIRCUIT WITH A MICROCONTORLLER AND SAVE MY INPUT AND PLAY WHEN EVER I NEED IT .

or else which circuit will help me to input my own melody through a keyboard and save it and play it
later

hello vinu, yes you can do that. just connec the pin3 of ic 555 to analog in and press record, now what ever tone coming from the ic will be stored in the isd, after recording just press the play button. you can also interface the same to the micro ocntroller.
