how to programm it?

Hello there..
i have one question and need some opinion/suggestion from others about my project..
my project is about RF..
What I'm try to do is, I need to design a FM receiver that can tune the channel radio by itself using electricfield..
For example, I'm from location A and I want to drive to location B. At location A, I listen from the radio XY station and when I arrived at locaton B, I still listen at XY radio station. The main point is, the frequency at location A and at location B for radio channel XY station is different and I need to design my radio TUNE/SEARCH the frequency by itself using electricfield. It is very interesting project but I need some opinion or suggestion about:
1) how to make it tune by itself using electricfield.
2) Of course, I need some programming for my project at least for 2 radio station and what is the suitable PROGRAMMING for this project?

If anybody outhere concern about this, you can share with me and gives some ideas to achive this project..COPY TO LEARN NOT LEARN TO COPY..TQ

Re: how to programm it?

My car radio does this perfectly, based on the RDS station info.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Data_System
It has a dual tuner to scan the available stations and check their field strength, also used to receive travel pilot information
independently of the currently selected program.

As far as I understand, it's a standard feature of todays car radios.
