Synopsys Astro questions

Hello, can anybody help me with Synopsys Astro and its generic 90nn library?

I started learning Synopsys Astro recently But I find that Astro is a very big tool. Its user guide is 800+ pages long. I wonder whether you can share some experience of learning Astro in a quick time.
So far, I have tried the Recommended Astro Script-based Methodology. Seems to be very quick. But I am afraid it's not good for debugging.

Another question is about using Synopsys generic 90nm library. I have a hard time to choose the correct reference library and technology file for the 90nm Library. Should I use the reference library "saed90nm_fr" under "Digital Standard Cell Library/process/astro/fram" and the technology file "astroTechFile.tf" under "Digital Standard Cell Library/process/astro/tech"? Or should I create my own reference library?

Thanks in advance.
