Hi all....
I am developing my own video compression algorithm in openCV. In the starting level I hv incorporated most of the blocks used in MPEG-2 algorithm (only algorithm not header formats etc.,). I hv completed both encoder and decoder side and verified in the same PC. I like to compress the videos in one pc and send it to other pc and decode it there.
How can I check the transfer in real time? (should i use threads,RTP ???if so can I do it in openCV)
Hw will I check the data rate which my algorithms can handle?
Plz help I am struck here..... any good reference for real time video transmission module?
