Flyback converter simulation in SPICE

I'm running into all kinds of problems as I attempt to simulate the flyback converter in PSPICE.

I think the transformer is most problematic, as is switch control.

I'm trying to simulate the proposed and conventional converters in the following schematic. The conventional approach doesn't include auxiliary switch and series cap.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

Why don't you simply try to reproduce the given circuit in PSPICE? You can't control a floating source MOSFET with a
grounded VPULSE source. seems to be a popular bug, see
You shouldn't ignore the transformer polarity of a flyback circuit. It matters. 1N4002 isn't suited as fast rectifier diode.
 

I've tried to simulate it several times, to no avail.

I've even used the information the person referenced in the link you provided.

Did you take a look at my schematic?

I'm a newbie to power electronics!
 

you can control your floating mosfet by use of "E" block. this is a part which is voltage controlled voltage source. on the "isolated" side, you connect the "ground" wire to the MOSFET source pin. set the gain to 1.
on the non-isolated side you can drive this block with your Vsource with respect to any ground you like.

there are more complicated ways to do this.. but the above is a good first start.
