how to get desktop picture with MATLAB?

Hi all:!:,

I am working at communication company. We have a system which shows the alarms with color.

I want to get the alarms with color, and change it to the sound with matlab? Everything remains same just the color changes.

How can i get the picture of the alarm program, to the matlab:?:
