specman books

Hi,
I worked as a verification engineer for two years using specman e. Right now I have some time(lets call it a long vacation) and want to read up some books on verification and ASIC design to get the overall picture.
Any good recomendations?

Thanks

Writing test benches
Priciples of Verifiable RTL Design, 2nd Ed.

where can I get "Writing test benches -- Priciples of Verifiable RTL Design, 2nd Ed"? Is there an electronic edition? Could anybody show a download link? Thanks a lot!

I downloaded it off the mirror of this site... not sure if it is still there... I must say its an excelent book.

I think the online help document in specman named "Verification Advisor" is much fit for your job.

There is a very good book,
"SOC Verification Methodologies" by Singh , it is in e book upload foroum.
You get a hold on SOC verification and s/w h/w co sims.

Good book as following
Digital.Logic.Testing.And.Simulation

Hi
How to write test programs for ATEs. Is there any guide or tutorials for this. Can someone recommend some reference books for this.

Amjad

hi, amjad
I think the test program for ATE is generated automately by eda tools.

Not really. But it's very straightforward

I know every ATE vendor is having their own proprietary test program development software ,to generate test program for different devices. You will be exposed to it only when you get a chance to work on the million dollar testers. Is there any possibility for a outsider to learn it.

is there any offline tool for test programming

I think you should establish a platform based-on FPGA to do your offline testing.

I think the <DIGITAL LOGIC TESTING AND SIMULATION> by Alexander Miczo is a good choice
