AGC output level

Hi
How to selecet the output level for an AGC , is it the mid point in the DRl , the max. received power or the first compression point and why?
thanks

AGC output level

It depends on the modulation.
For GMSK you can take 2dB below DBFS.
Similarly for other modulation based on PAR you can select the DBFS with 2 to 3 dB cushion.
