Hi All,
Can you please tell me how it is possible to obtain the power consumption of a digital circuit from digital gate-level simulation using ncverilog ?

You can use NC-Verilog to dump out a VCD file of the digital netlist.
Primetime-PX can then in your libraries which contain the power information; your netlist and your VCD. It can then generate a power report.

The Primetime script for doing this is really simple. I can show you if necessary.
