That doesn't make sense. All BCD codes are valid. Do you mean the hexadecimal combination 0x0A through 0x0F ?

bcd codes are up to 9(1001). 10-15 unused combinations there is no bcd codes like 1011

Added after 4 hours 20 minutes:
