Edge ports in FEKO

Does anyone know how to define edge ports for a finite substrate microstrip fed patch antenna.? Anyone who has tried it would know that port edges have to share faces and then there is the negative and positive face story to complicate matters.

THe FEKO guidetries to explain but there is no example to show how it's done. Microstrip ports won't work for a finite substrate as per FEKO rules. If you have a cfx file with succesful simulations said example I would really appreciate it. Am using version 5.5 2009 release.

Have you found a solution to your problem, I am having problems with the same thing, if you have could you post a cadfeko model that has any microstrip on a finite substrate with a (microstrip)port, that can actually run feko.

hi gamba007,

í´m having the same proble about the feed in finite subtrates. Could you send me your example please? my email is jmga9@hotmail.com!

Best regards,

Request a login from FEKO and go to their Help Centre. It is explained clearly there.
