Random bit genrater

hi
i am trying to desing a random bot genrater from the start can you advise me with the circut digrame and the compannet and we we wre takking this componet and how we will test it
i am looking for highe bit rate

Re: Random bit genrater

For a high-quality random bit stream, amplify the shot noise from a zener diode, filter out the mean value and feed the noise and mean value to a comparator to make it binary '1' and '0'.

pleas can you advise me with some circuit

Re: Random bit genrater

The analog noise methods described above may not be fast enough for your use. One alternative is the psudorandom method with feedback into different stages of a shift register. This method produces relatively random bits that are sufficient for spreading signals and testing storage devices although it is not as secure as the analog noise method for encryption methods that are attempted to be decoded by government intelligence agencies.

Re: Random bit genrater

Hi

1. you can use LFSR generate a digital serial random bit stream ,
I ever use it , but you should be care for how to testing it ??
--> easy implement , but not really random number ,
because chip reset will get the same ID ..

2. Intel use device noise and modulation a oscillator ..
you can find patent on Intel website ..

I am trying to design A programmable PN sequence generator with cadence, but it's not working, I think I need an start up circuit.. any idea or suggestion?

You would do better to start a new thread than dig up a 7 year old one.
