One OUT signal LVDS is compatible with one INP singal PECL?

Hello !!

I need connect one SERIALIZER (SN65LV1023A from www.ti.com) that have one output LVDS to other component that accept signals PECL or ECL.

I can connect directly? It is compatible?

The Output differential voltage Vod of the SN65LV1023A is typical 450mV and the offset voltage is 1.2V.

As you can easily check with a PECL logic datasheet, it's not compatible to LVDS due to the different common mode range. Level translation is required.

In the figure 6 (LVDS to LVPECL Interfacing Diagram) I see that I can use only one resistor of 100ohm to convert LVDS to LVPECL.
 

The suggested LVDS-to.PECL interface is said to work with PECL line receivers. This isn't identical to "any PECL" input, thus I said, the common range is different. But there are probably more devices that expose PECL compatible inputs with a common mode range downto 1.2 V. You should check the specification of the respective device for clarity.
