Hello All,
I am preparing a OP-AMP circuit as per attach drawing.
I don't know why my -3v drops to nearly zero when i put my opamp Ic in to socket. I am using TL084c(cod op-amp).
Can anybody help me!!!
Any kind of help is appreciated....

I'll have to plug in my long range spectacles to help with this one. I tried Google Earth but the picture through your window wasn't clear enough to see.

There is nothing wrong with the design except for missing capacitors across the + and - supply rails to ground and the rather low supply voltage. It is possible that one or more stages are oscillating and that is causing extra current to be drawn, decoupling capacitors will help if that is the case. I think the reason is more likely to be a faulty op-amp or inadequate supply capability though. Please check your design will work at +/- 3V supply too, the TL084 data sheets do not show performance figures for supplies below +/- 4V.

The datasheet shows that the inputs of a TL08x do not work when one input is within 3V of its negative supply voltage. It is called the "phase inversion" problem.

I am through this stage & moving further(now requirement is of 1000gain).
i TOOK THE EXTRA BATTERY FOR -3V, RATHER THAN TAKING IT THROUGH CONTROLLER.
