opamp amplifier 10

Hello,

I wish to amplify the voltage across the current sense resistor in an SMPS LED driver by a factor of 10.

It's a boost converter LED driver with V(in) = 13.5V

The Op-Amp must be single-supply operational and have facility for rail-to-rail input and output voltages.

I could use an Op Amp set up as a differential amplifier -
-but this means 4 resistors as well as the Op-Amp package itself

Does any reader know of any Times_10 Amplifier IC's which could do this job without me having to add the external resistors?

op-amp packages

You could try an instrumentation amplifier, the AD626 with a preset gain of 10 or 100 springs to mind. (note the tolerance on the gain)

A high price to pay for wanting to avoid resistors!
