The difference between BC547 and BC337A transistors

Hi ,
i would like to know about the BC547 AND BC337A difference between two transistors, can i use it alternatively.

Depends on your application, in most cases: yes. Pinout may be different.
BTW: Better ask such questions in this forum.
 

bc547 and bc 337

bc 547 and bc337 are both general purpouse npn transistors with same ebc configuration but slightly difference in current 547 can handles up to 500 mamp current with a power dessipation up to 625 mw, while in the case of 337 it can handle up to 800 mamp with a power dessipation of 1.5 watt so it can be used in somewhat more power handling locations than 547.You may download datasheets for 547 and 337 transistors from the links given below

bc547 more power

BC337 has considerably higher capacitances, thus it's not first choice in low current switching applications.

.. but BC337 can pass much more current. Anyways, in switchers, better to use FETs I would say.
