Hello,


Yes, you mean to say Microwave Office (MWO) EMSight electromagnetic simulator right!!!

Only you need to create an additional Air layer below dielectric layer & draw the
arbiterary partial ground plane & make sure it touches the enclosure or box walls...
See the attached picture for more details...

send me your MWO file (*.emp) I will configure it for you...

Hi Manju, thanks for answering. This is my first project in MWO and I'm trying to reproduce the results of the paper I attach. The antenna design is shown in Fig. 2. I'll appreciate your help.

Hello,

Yes, I found better & good results with following settings...
X & Y grid size is 2.5 & the box dimension as 150X100
& default Air Height is 15 mm...See the attached pictures...

I still investigating to get accurate results...I will upload later...

Hey Manju, try simulating with the feeding strip at a distance of 6mm instead of 7 from the left side.

Was the edge port correctly used in the original file?

Why are you using several EM Structures?

Hi Manju

I am currently using MWO 2002 to simulate my bowtie antenna. Can you guide me through on how to draw a partial ground plane for my antenna design?
