cooler circuit for Laser Diode-need alternative for resistor

Hello Frnds,
I am designing a cooler circuit for Laser Diode. For that an important component i.e a resistor is not available. It is a low ohmic resistor and its value is 0.068ohms. Can there be any alternative for it. Since it is a temperature dependent circuit using a wire of that much resistance will not be futile.. Kindly suggest...

I have heard Heat sinks and fans which are common, and Petlier effect modules which are recently introduced for cooling needs in electronics. A "circuit" to cool a laser diode sounds intresting. Anyways...Resistance of 0.068 ohms is equivalent to a thin piece of copper wire. The thickness may be varied according to the wattage required. At the most i have come across a .1E resistor. Not less than that.

You'll find them at a qualified catalog distributor. Farnell **broken link removed** lists not less than 30 different types with 68 mOhm resistance, 15 of them are on stock. Apart from this option, I guess you're able to calculate resistor series and parallel circuits, possibly an option to get the required resistance value from your lab stock.
