Hi!

we have a design which is having BF532 from ANALOG DEVICES, USB, ethernet, audio, video and other peripherals.....

i have to design power supply for this board.....

i don't have any previous experiance in this regard...i have seen the electrical specs in the datasheets...there are so many new terms are there like Supply current, quiecent current, ICC, and each type of IC having different types of specs like memories, Logic IC's, gates, processors......

i don't know how to proceed.....i need any guidence in this regard....

any online tutorials, or any recommended books.........

please Help............

All major vendors of semiconductor power supply solutions, e.g. (TI, National, Linear, Fairchildsemi, ONsemi) have various application notes and tutorials.

If the board has been or is on the way to be designed by other engineers, you can expect a specification for the power supply. It's not your duty to read the individual data sheets, they don't neccessarily answer all questions, some specifications are set by the board design itself. If they don't have a specification, I would doubt, if the design is operational at all.

As a first step, I suggest to consult the existing reference designs and evaluation boards from Analog or third parties. They should provide a suitable solution to supply the processor core and common peripherals.
