pressure sensing circuit

I am currently working on a project but I am stuck at it.

My project is working on a foot pressure circuit which we need to detect foot pressure. What kind or type of foot pressure sensor should I use for my circuit? Do anyone of you has circuits/schematics on foot pressure circuits?

I am stuck in what are some of the components that is needed inside a foot pressure circuit. I am currently doing something like a biomedical foot pressure sensing.

Whereby I need to build a circuit, using the right presure sensor, to sense the pressure that the foot is acting on. Perhaps 6 foot ball regions?

I hope there are someone out here who can help.
Thanks.

logaritmisch fsr sensor -filetype:pdf

I decided to get a FSR sensor.

But how am i going about designing the circuit?

I am quite new to it thats why need quite a lot of help here

pressue sensing circuit

By FSR you pretty much mean resistor changing its value proportionaly to the applied force.
So if you have a current source sending current to the sensor you generate a voltage, Then you can measure the voltage with some DAC. All you need is a a voltage reference for DAC and you are done.
Then you have digital value of the voltage and you can translate it to the force.

foot pressure measurement circuit

Will making a voltmeter helps in my overall circuit?

My "voltmeter" is to see how many force/pressure that the foot is acting on the sensor. "higher the voltage, higher the pressure/force"

*Question:
How do I translate the digital value of the voltage to force?

foot sensors circuits

voltmeter will do the same thing as digital value from ADC (both measure voltege across them sensor)
In both cases you need to convert somehow the measured value to force applied on sensor.
From spec of sensor you will know value of resistance with 0 and maximum force. Also you might get curve in the datasheet - from there you recalculate it to voltage.
In worst case you will have to use weights to characterize it.

converting presure to voltage

How do i convert the values and display it to become kPA or in terms of force?

Is there a way to convert it through building of circuits and display it on the 7 segment?
