JTAG alternate for ARM7TDMI(LPC2129)?????

hi all,
my botherboard supports external communication only through USB and serial port(DB9 connector).If i want to work on LPC2129 with my system, is there any alternate for the JTAG for programming my microcontroller?

LPC2000s have a built-in serial bootloader. Can't give you more details, because I've never used it.

IN fact there are at least two alternatives that come to mind.
1. Have a look at FlashMagic, serial programming through UART. http://www.flashmagictool.com/
2. There is an emulator from pls that can program through CAN as well. www.pls-mc.com

For your next project I can only recommend to have a JTAG interface available
