hey plz help me! need a code for lcd interface..

i actually want to write a verilog code for character lcd interface.. in which i want to get the only function set for the value 000010 -( lcd_rs-0, lcd_rw-0,db7-0,db6-0,db5-1,db4-0) using a state machine.. either mealy or moore..
 

i actually don't understand what you exactly need but coding for LCD is really not a big deal if using good compilers with built-in function. check out mikro c it may help.
 

hey codewiz!!thnk u for the reply but i wanna use a state machine (mealy or moore) to get the output of 000010 which implies the function of function set in character LCD is enabled after 40micro sec.. could u please gimme a code for that in verilog?? i am new to verilog..
 

sorry. i don't know anything about verilog
