dxf mit cst

Hi everybody!I am trying to simulate a patch antenna using CST.To get the geometry of the patches I am trying to import a .DXF file. However CST imports this geometry as a curve and not as a planar sheet. When I try to get a planar sheet from the curve by extruding I get the following message "Selected curve is not a single path "

I think that I have a problem in the DXF file but when I open it with Autocad everything seems fine. What kind of line does CST need to import a geometry properly from DXF?Can anyone help me please?Thank you in advance!

cst extrude profile

Hi aavarez.
You can't extrude from the curve. Once you select the curve, go to the curves tool bar and then I think you have to use trace option. try it.

Hi

You need to select all parts of the curve then add them together. then in the curves tool bar choose make face from selected curve or select face and extrude it.

before you import the dxf file. make all the lines of the antenna in POLYLINE and join all. after that you can import to CST then. you do the same if you have the pcb outline also
