awr mwo+loadpull

Hi all,

I need some help.

Does anyone know how to do loadpull simulation in AWR's MWO

right now i have .lp & .lpd file of a pre-match PA. I need to deembed the prematch circuit from the existing .lp & .lpd files. The end product will be loadpull contours right at the low impedance. Has anyone ever done this before..

AFter i have de-embed, i need to embed another type of circuit configuration. is there a way, i can do this in AWR's MWO or ADS?

you may now that inside a .lpd file there is only Gamma X and Gamma Y.. How do i embed a s2p file to Gamma X and Gamma Y. the information of Gamma X and Gamma Y is probably similar to a s1p file.

Please help..

regards
Yakihimo

hello Yakihimo,

yes, i have some experience in doing loadpull simulations using AWR Microwave Office (MWO)...

To read data files .lp, .sp files just right click on the Data Files in project browser then select import data files & set the file type to Text files...
Then select the .lp file & add the Smith chart graph & Loadpull measured contours measurement to display....

The step by step procedure is shown in the attached pdf file, go through the same & let me know you have any further queries on the same....
