a model/number of GLCD to work with graphics and text

well, hi everyone, and sorry for my bad English...

I have worked with hdt44780 text LCD and a nokia3300 b/W GLCD and nokia3100 color GLCD but they are too small for my application, I also got an GLCD with a KS0108 controller (LM12864L) and made it works...

My question is: could someone suggest me a model/number of GLCD to work with graphics and text? one that is medium size (like the LM12864L) and has some color? and the the most important... which one have Info and/or examples?

I was thinking to use my LM12864L for text output (8 lines of text!), and a small nokia3100 for a small picture (to Identify a product) but... using two GLCDs??? have someone any better ideas???

BTW: all the codes to make the LCDs to work, came from this forum, thanks!

The Ks0108 does do graphics, all glcds do graphics...??

Might be able to find some links for you, but what micro and language are you using ?

Wow! which model is that GLCD? it looks very interesting...

the fact is that I'm looking for some color GLCD... the size of a 10x7 cm. and over 128x64 pix. or something like... but a GLCD with info and/or examples.

and for micro.... Anyone would help, but i'm planning to implement in an AVRmega64 or a pic18, which comes first. (Actualy i'm testing in a Atmega32)

That glcd is a 128x 64 unit , 65mm x 35mm display area driven by a Pic18F in assembler.

A colour unit 10x7 cm is really a tft screen.
Those cost a lot of money and can you actually buy any in your area ? - many places have to import units from China which can be problematic.
Also doubt there will be much in the way of software for them either.

Think its first see what displays you can actually get hold of over there, and then see if you can get anything to drive it with before buying one.

Hello!

I could suggest this one that I recently bought. But maybe too big for your app.
It's a 240 x 160, 5 bits gray (32 levels).
The external size (cables excluded) is 77 x 60.
It is also readable without backlight.
